아스다롯(Ashtaroth) 은 가나안 지역의 이방신 중 하나로 사랑과 풍요의 여신이다.
이 여신 숭배 사상은 그리스로 넘어가 아프로티테가 되었다.
보통
Baal 과 쌍으로 섬겨지는데, 바알과 아스다롯의 성교로 땅의 농작물이 풍요롭게 결실을 맺는다는 사상이었다.
그로인해 바알과 아스다롯의 신전에서는 여성 사제들이 제사를 빙자한 혼음 난교가 벌어졌다.
13 14 Yahweh’s anger burned against Israel , and he delivered them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.
