Golgotha is the hill where Jesus was crucified. It is the Greek translation of the Hebrew word for 'skull'.
It is the same as Calvary. Calvary is derived from the Latin word 'calve' (skull).
Matthew 27:33And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
